AI Caricature is a drawn keepsake shaped by artificial intelligence from a portrait photo taken at the event. The style can be subtler or playfully bold, and it can also be adapted to the event's brand identity.
An AI Caricature really works when the guest's first reaction is "That's so me!" — and then they immediately turn around to show everyone else. Humour offers plenty of room to play, but to get a lovable result, it's worth setting the boundaries in advance.
What style suits your event?
With the AI Caricature service, you can define the visual direction beforehand. A more restrained line drawing can work well for an elegant reception, while a bolder, cheerful depiction fits a colourful team day.
Not every crowd finds the same things funny. A good starting point is a kind exaggeration that keeps the character of the face and the personal mood intact. It's worth ruling out body depictions or mocking details that could put a guest in an uncomfortable position, already at the creative brief stage.
How does the photo shoot work?
First, a portrait is taken with even lighting. Then the system transforms the image into the chosen style, which can also be given a branded frame. The result can be printed on site and handed over digitally as well.
Guests don't need to sit as a model through the whole drawing process. Even so, time needs to be planned for the selection, processing and handover of the image. The real capacity is best agreed based on the event's schedule and the solution used.
What to check on the test image
Check whether the drawing's facial expression is friendly, whether the degree of transformation feels right, and whether the frame doesn't overpower the portrait. It's easier to spot when a style only works well on certain faces if you test with subjects of different appearances.
At a corporate event, colours and graphic motifs can reference the occasion. A birthday can have a more personal mood, but the celebrant's or guests' sensitive traits should never become the butt of the joke.
Frequently asked questions
Is the drawing made by a live caricaturist? With this service, the transformation is done by AI, based on a photo.
Will every result look exactly the same? The style can be made consistent, but the generated images may still vary. That's another reason a prior test is useful.
