Selfie Swap creates images with AI-based face swapping: the guest's portrait is merged into a pre-selected character. The service works with one guest at a time, and the finished picture can be printed and shared digitally.

A good choice of character saves half a conversation. All it takes is one glance at the picture, and the question arrives right away: "Which one did you pick?" Selfie Swap turns that curiosity into a short, personal event experience.

Start by planning the character gallery

Selfie Swap works with pre-selected characters, and a custom gallery can also be created. It's worth offering clearly distinct roles: for example, an elegant explorer, a retro TV host or a futuristic city dweller. These are possible creative directions that need to be agreed before implementation.

A character created specifically for your event can tie in especially well with your campaign. The costume, background and colour palette can together tell the story of the occasion. Make the selection easy to browse, and include a variety of moods.

Individual photo, shared reaction

The service creates each guest's picture one at a time. Friends can choose together and look at each other's results in the meantime, but don't plan the programme as a group face-swap photo. If a shared group picture is your primary goal, the classic SelfieBox is a better starting point.

The roughly five seconds mentioned on the service page refers to processing time only. The full process also includes choosing a character, taking the portrait and collecting the print. This is especially important to keep in mind during a short conference break.

What's needed on site?

The spec sheet asks for a minimum of 1 × 1 metre of free space, a power outlet, and stable Telekom or Yettel 4G coverage. Plan extra room for guests to move around. For outdoor use, the equipment also needs suitable weather protection.

What keeps the face-swap experience enjoyable?

The guest should know that a playful, edited image is being made of them. The characters should be accessible and friendly, and public sharing should never be a mandatory part of taking part. Test shots help check how well the face fits and how the overall result looks.

Tell us about the character world you have in mind, and let's put together a selection that's genuinely fun to browse.
