After the event, it's worth downloading the photos according to the agreed handover method, checking them, and keeping your own backup. A gallery link, a photo saved to a phone, and a higher-resolution file don't necessarily mean the same thing.

The day after the event, all sorts of things tend to surface: a forgotten coat, a kind message, and the question "where are the photos?". A simple handover plan can make this part much calmer.

Clarify access before the event even starts

Ask who will receive the photos, through which channel, and when and for how long they'll be available. SelfieBox offers digital sharing, but it's worth recording the handover terms for the full set of event images separately.

The same applies to the quickly delivered photos from Instant Photo. On-site access and the file package available afterwards don't necessarily contain the same thing. Don't automatically assume the availability of framed, unframed or other variants.

Download it, then actually open it

Save the files you receive into a folder labelled with the event name and date. Open a few images and check that you really did receive full-size files and that every necessary part is available. Use the provided download option rather than a screenshot.

If something is missing or access isn't working, report it within the stated availability period. Don't treat the later restoration of an expired link as a guaranteed option.

Keep the originals separate

Keep an unaltered copy of the downloaded files, and make a copy for sorting or cropping. That way, the original handed-over version stays available for a later album, a new aspect ratio, or printing.

A second backup on a separate device or a properly managed cloud storage is useful. Set sharing permissions so that only the intended circle can access personal photos.

Put together a short, lovable selection

There's no need to forward every photo at once. A clear, curated selection lets different groups and moments stand out better. Coordinate any public sharing with those involved, especially after a family or internal company event.

It's worth keeping generated character portraits separate from the documentary event photos, so it stays clear later which image was created how.

In your quote request, mention your photo handover needs too. A great photo experience is complete when you can consciously access your memories after the event as well.
